Through no fault of its own, the C-27J Spartan has experienced quite a lot of turbulence in its introduction. It’s essentially a smaller, two-prop version of the C-130 intended to transport troops and cargo into hotter, less prepared combat zones. Then money stepped in. Or, rather, the lack of it. Budget cuts saw Spartans being sent directly from production lines to the Boneyard at Davis Monthan. Fortunately, the US Coast Guard and small air forces in many countries have taken on these worthy aircraft. Kit features detailed parts and three sets of decals.
