Aviation Scale Ruler

The standard aeronautical scale rule as used world-wide, manufactured from thick Perpex with a bevelled edge. The outer edges are marked with nautical miles in 1:500,000 & 1:250,000 scales. Along the centre line statute miles and kilometres are marked in 1:500,000 scale (e.g. not just a non-scaled conversion line). As a sign of AFE’s attention to detail, you will find that the scale is 10 nautical miles wide in 1:500,000 scale to aid safety altitude calculations.
