Offered in the midst of a road transport crisis, the short cab G260 was designed to deliver the lowest possible cost price per kilometre. This saving was made possible by an overall reduction of the vehicle’s weight, reduced fuel consumption provided by a new gearbox, a direct injection engine and an air-to-air cooling turbo compressor.
